Angie's Pointe Shoes!
About My Current Pointe Shoes!
My current pointe shoes (pictured above) are Bloch Serenade MKll. They are a size four letter C. These are one of my favorite pointe shoes I've had out of all five pairs (That might not seem like too much for some people but a lot for others. I'm in my third year of pointe.) that I have had. They broke in comfortably and molded to my foot with no problems. I was able to break them in with only one class and one rehearsal. Other then being comfortable and soft they cause no pain or troubles to dance in. Although I sometimes get like one blister every 3-4 months but not constantly and usually only in long rehearsals or classes. (To learn how to care for blisters and other pointe pain check out our "All About Pointe" tab for more information.) After having them for quite a few months now they are still in great shape. Lastly, I wanted to mention they show my arches perfectly! I have a pretty decent arch and it shows it very nicely and looks great on my feet. This is definitely the number one shoe on my list.

Inside Angie's Dance Drawer!
Description of Everything in Angie's Dance Drawer!
(Starting from the top left going down.)
First, I have to the left t-shirts, socks, and shorts which I can wear at home to practice ballet if I do not wish to put on my leotard and tights. I have everything from plain t-shirts, colorful t-shirts, shorts (nylon, cloth, silk), and socks (knee and ankle length).
Next, in the middle section where the organizers are I have more items. To the left of the organizer I have fluffy shorts I also wear around my house but are more for stretching then dancing because they are more loose than the other shorts and more comfortable. In the middle of the organizer (top to bottom) I have therabands, half foot socks, and alignment belts. Then I have black leather flats I use for shows and under that is where I keep ALL of my pink tights for class. Finally, in the last part (right side) of the organizer is where I keep my new shoes and my extra/old toe pads.
Then, on the right side of my drawer which is the last side is where I keep leotards, class shirts, colored tights, and under overs. At the top (top to bottom) where the pink shirt is where I keep all my shirts I wear to dance. Those are the shirts I wear over my leotard to class. Next to them are my black tights. Then under the black tights is two piles where all of my leotards I wear for class are which are black except for the one blue one I have (not shown in photo). Finally, in the last bottom section of the drawer is where I have tan and white tights. I also have nude and white leotards which I wear under my costumes during performances.
